§ 8-56. Restrictions on operation of vehicle with loudspeakers or amplifiers.

Nothing in this article and no permit issued under this article, shall authorize a permit holder to operate a mechanical loudspeaker or amplifier on any vehicle within the business district of the town or in any school zone, when school is in operation. Further, it is unlawful for any permit holder to operate a mechanical loudspeaker or amplifier between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. on weekdays or between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and after 8:00 p.m. on Sundays.
