The building official or town council may enforce the provisions of this article by
pursuing all civil and criminal actions, and civil and injunctive remedies available
to a town under state law, or by any other remedy or combination of remedies available
at law or equity, including, in any court action, the collection of attorney's fees
and costs, and maximum interest on liens and judgments as allowed by law. All remedies
authorized under this article are cumulative of all others unless otherwise expressly
provided. The filing of a criminal action shall not preclude the pursuit of a civil
or administrative action for violation of this article, nor shall the filing of a
civil action preclude the pursuit of any other action or remedy, whether administrative
or criminal.
