§ 4-3. Fees.

(a)

Town tag fee. An annual town tag fee is set in an amount as set forth in the town fee schedule and may be changed from time to time by the town council.

(b)

Impoundment fees. An owner claiming an animal which has been impounded under this chapter shall pay, prior to the release of the animal, a fee as set forth in the town fee schedule, determined according to the status of the animal and whether the offense is a first or second offense.

In addition, costs of boarding the animal and vaccinations expense, if applicable, together with any other costs incurred, will be due prior to release of the animal.
